Urban redevelopment core area Idar

Now that the urban development program "Active City - Oberstein Town Centre" has almost been completed in the Oberstein district and the "Socially Integrative City - Wasenstrasse Quarter" funding program has been initiated, the inner city area in the Oberstin district is also to undergo further urban development. To this end, the city council has initiated preparatory investigations to formally define the redevelopment area. This will initially cover the area between Idarbach, Bismarckstrasse and Kobachstrasse and is referred to as the "Idar core area". An extension of the redevelopment area to other areas of the city center is already being considered.
