    The district of Idar is one of the core districts of Idar-Oberstein. The building plots on offer are predominantly in a quiet location with panoramic views and no through traffic. Developed plots available for immediate construction, some plots still undeveloped.
    The residential area "Auf dem Steinkäulchen" with the most available plots is located on the heights of the Idar district. The area, which is surrounded by greenery, borders directly on a small recreational area with the "Bismarck Tower" viewpoint.

    The urban building plots in the Regulshausen district offer those who appreciate a quiet residential location with a remarkable panorama all the possibilities. You live here in the countryside, mostly without through traffic. Residents reach their homes in the "Auf Willwerich" residential area via residential cul-de-sacs. There is a local recreation area in the surrounding area. Short distances lead to the town centers of Idar and Oberstein with their pedestrian zones and the corresponding infrastructure.

  • LIVING IN THE TIEFENSTEIN DISTRICT

    The Tiefenstein district is located to the north of Idar town center, along the Idarbach stream in the immediate vicinity of the foothills of the Hochwald and the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
    Tiefenstein has all the facilities needed for everyday life. In addition to numerous grocery stores and a petrol station on the main thoroughfare Tiefensteiner Straße, there are also bank branches, doctors, a pharmacy and a bakery in the central area of the district. The Idarbachtal elementary school (all-day school) and kindergarten are just a few minutes' walk away. Tiefenstein is well connected to the town centers of Idar and Oberstein as well as secondary schools by public transport buses.
    There are also many opportunities for leisure activities. In addition to the opportunity to actively participate in the district's club life, there is the Staden natural swimming pool and the Stadenhalle with sports fields in the north and the park-like area with pond at the historic Weiherschleife in the south of Tiefenstein to linger. If you are looking for nature, you can take long walks on many forest paths to the east or west to switch off from everyday working life.

  • LIVING IN THE WEIERBACH DISTRICT

    There are only a small number of urban building plots left in Weierbach. The district has its own train stop (Fischbach-Weierbach stop) in the immediate vicinity of a large-scale retail market. In addition to shopping facilities, there is also a daycare center and several schools. You can reach Oberstein town center with its pedestrian zone in just a few minutes by car.
