In a small ceremony, Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf and colleagues congratulated the nursery school teacher at the Göttschied daycare center on this special day.
After her training, Dana Moser-Schuchhardt was given a temporary position at the Nahbollenbach daycare center, after which she worked at the daycare center in the Idar market school, then again in Nahbollenbach and moved to the Göttschied daycare center in 2004. On March 1, 2005, she was given a permanent position there, where she now celebrated her 25th anniversary of service in February.
During this time, the work in municipal daycare centers has changed significantly. In addition to traditional educational care, the focus today is much more on individual support, early childhood education, language development and inclusion. However, the demands on documentation, parent work and team coordination have also grown, while social changes and a more diverse daily routine have made the job more demanding, but also more varied.
Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf describes the city administration "as a good and secure employer, which is also confirmed by the many long-standing employees. We seem to be doing a lot of things right as an employer and are well positioned for the future in Idar-Oberstein," continued the Lord Mayor.
Katrin Schwarz, Deputy Head of the Youth Welfare Office, praises Dana Moser-Schuchhardt as a very reliable and empathetic colleague who contributes to good teamwork. On behalf of the staff council, Sebastian Herzig paid tribute to the special achievements of Dana Moser-Schuchhardt, who has been a dedicated childcare worker and an important reference person for the children for 25 years. Wolfgang Petry, senior office administrator, wishes the jubilarian that she will continue to enjoy her job in the future.
Dana Moser-Schuchhardt describes "that the profession of nursery teacher is more strenuous today than it was in the early days, which is also due to the fact that children start nursery earlier and more tasks are assigned to the nursery teachers".
Mayor Frühauf thanked the jubilarian for her commitment and hard work with a certificate and a few gifts and wished her all the best for her future career and life. Colleagues and staff representatives were happy to join in the thanks and good wishes.
