Of course, Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf should not be missing on this special anniversary. And so the future schoolchildren of the daycare center, together with daycare center director Sabrina Becker and educator Nina Knab, made their way to the town hall to invite the mayor to the celebration.
Mayor Frühauf received the delegation in his office and was delighted with the lovingly designed invitation letter. "Of course I'd love to come to the party, the date is already in my diary." He showed the children his work area and they were particularly fascinated by the Lord Mayor's chain of office. "But it's very heavy, so I only wear it on special occasions," explained Frank Frühauf. He patiently answered all kinds of questions from the young visitors and, of course, there were also small gifts for them.
The anniversary program starts on 19 June at 2 p.m. with short performances by the daycare children. There will be coffee and cake from 2.30 pm, a singer-songwriter will perform at 4 pm and barbecued food and chips will be available for guests from 4.30 pm. There will also be various activities for young and old throughout the day.
