The employment relationship is based on the collective agreement of the public service (TVöD) with the usual social benefits of the public service. Administrative assistant (m/f/d) to support the economic youth welfare team
The main job contents include in particular
- Administrative processing in the area of full-time care in accordance with § 33 SGB VIII as well as cost reimbursement cases in this area, in particular determination of factual and local responsibility in accordance with §§ 85 ff. of SGB VIII, processing/decision of applications and regular review and ordering of service invoices as well as review of a cost contribution obligation

Janitor (m/f/d) to support the building management team
The City of Idar-Oberstein's building management department looks after all municipal properties with regard to necessary new buildings and conversions. The building management department is also responsible for the structural maintenance of buildings and the management of technical facilities.
The scope includes schools, day-care centers, school sports and multi-purpose halls, fire stations, administration buildings, city library, parking garages, public toilets, city theater, exhibition hall, various other buildings such as the train station Idar-Oberstein and also some historic buildings such as the castle Oberstein.
The central tasks include in particular
- Carrying out typical janitorial work, in particular keeping the facilities clean, maintaining and monitoring them
- Performing the winter service
- Surveillance and locking service

All municipal buildings can be used. The right to assign further tasks from the area of building management remains reserved.

The main job contents include in particular
- Management of the city marketing association including organization and implementation of events
- Performing the tasks of housing promotion
- Performing municipal funding management tasks, in particular advising public authorities, citizens and companies on funding opportunities
- Public transport matters including coordination with the public transport authorities and any committees
- Broadband representative for the city area
- General matters of the Construction, Infrastructure and Environment Committee
- Collaboration in the area of business development and the procurement office
The right is reserved to transfer further tasks from the area of the municipal building authority.
Your requirements profile:
- Good knowledge of administrative law and sound specialist knowledge in the application of the law combined with a quick grasp of the situation
- Good knowledge and skills in the use of IT as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with any specialist applications

Draftsman (m/f/d) to support the public utilities team
The main job contents include in particular
- Support in planning the renewal of drainage and water supply networks using CAD systems
- Support during construction with measurement preparation, mass determination, invoice control
- Independent surveying during and after completion of piping systems with the aid of GPS-supported surveying equipment
- Independent allocation of the recorded survey data and transfer to the associated water supply and wastewater disposal databases in the existing GIS system
- Independent processing of building applications
The right to transfer further tasks from the area of municipal utilities remains reserved.
Your requirements profile:
- Very good IT skills in planning software (RIB available) and construction-related software (ITWO available)
- In addition, knowledge of a geographic information system (GIS), ideally Caigos software, is an advantage
- A high level of commitment and initiative are a matter of course for you
- Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Very good organizational and communication skills
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working with the ability to work in a team
- Driving license class B (formerly 3) is a prerequisite for employment, as well as the willingness to drive a company car
