  • Road builder (m/f/d) with completed vocational training and knowledge of asphalt and civil engineering

    If you have experience and interest in carrying out a wide range of construction and maintenance work on public roads and squares in the city area and are able to carry out the work assigned to you independently, we look forward to receiving your application.

    The field of activity includes in particular all road maintenance work such as setting kerbs and gutter slabs, laying VB paving and much more. The asphalt work involves smaller-scale construction sites. Most of the work is done by hand. We also carry out sewer maintenance work. Winter road maintenance work is also essential. Assignments in other fields of work are also possible if required. Possession of a class CE driving license is a prerequisite for employment; knowledge of operating various construction machines is desirable.

    If you are motivated and able to work under pressure, have professional experience as a road builder (m/f/d) and are willing to integrate into a team, you should apply.

    This is a permanent position, which is generally suitable for part-time work, but is to be filled on a full-time basis. The employment relationship is based on the collective agreement of the public service (TVöD) with the usual social benefits of the public service. If the personal requirements are met, the position will be classified in pay group 5 (TVöD).

  • Employee (m/f/d) in the function of a registrar (m/f/d)

    The central tasks include in particular

    • Notarization of births and deaths (also in compliance with international private law)
    • Acceptance of marriage registrations (also in compliance with international private law)
    • Organization of marriage ceremonies, also on Saturdays
    • Maintaining and updating civil status registers, providing information and issuing civil status certificates
    • Issuing certificates of no impediment to marriage and conducting exemption proceedings at the competent higher regional court
    • Recognition of foreign decisions in matrimonial matters
    • Advice, receipt and notarization of declarations, consents or approvals for the use of names on the basis of domestic and foreign civil status regulations
    • Notarization of declarations of withdrawal from the church
    • Issuing burial permits and mortuary passports
    • Final processing of applications in accordance with the Name Change Act

    To work in this public-intensive and customer-oriented area of responsibility, you will need to have successfully completed training as an administrative assistant (m/f/d) (alternatively, you will need to have passed the first examination for employees in the municipal administration and cashier service) or be qualified for the 3rd entry-level position in the field of administration and finance in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. A previous appointment as a registrar (m/f/d) is an advantage. Ideally, you already have professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility and have passed a basic seminar on "Civil Status and Family Law" at the Academy for Civil Status. Sound and extensive specialist knowledge in the relevant areas of law, e.g. civil status law, private law, is expected or must be acquired by attending seminars.

    We expect you to enjoy working with the public, have a pronounced willingness to provide service, be able to work under pressure and have a high level of commitment and motivation. Independent and self-reliant work as well as the ability to work in a team, strong communication and organizational skills are required. The willingness to take on tasks outside normal working hours and possibly at different locations in the registry office district, especially Saturday work, is essential.

    This is a permanent position, which is generally suitable for part-time work, but can be filled on a full-time basis. Depending on the personal requirements, the position will be filled as a civil servant or as an employee. If the personal and career requirements are met, the salary/remuneration will be in accordance with A 10 LBesG or EG 9a TVöD.

  • Head (m/f/d) for your citizens' office (residents' registration, vehicle registration, driving licenses)

    The main job contents include in particular

    • Management and leadership of the department, including responsible personnel management
    • Processing fundamental and strategic matters of the department
    • Support for complex and challenging individual cases, including the handling of appeal proceedings
    • Responsibility for budgetary tasks within the department
    • Implementation and evaluation of statistical analysis

    We are looking for an employee (m/f/d) who has the ability to work independently combined with a willingness to take responsibility and organizational skills, very good knowledge of the relevant legal regulations, strong communication and cooperation skills and who is able to deal with the public in a friendly, respectful and dialogue-oriented manner.

    The prerequisite for filling the position is:

    • Successful completion of training as an administrative assistant (m/f/d) in conjunction with passing the second examination for employees in the municipal administration and cashier service (Verwaltungsfachwirt (m/f/d))

    or

    • a university degree with a Bachelor's degree in the field of administration and finance or a career qualification for the 3rd entry-level post in the field of administration and finance

    alternatively

    • Successful completion of training as an administrative assistant (m/f/d) in conjunction with current participation or willingness to participate in an employee training course II at a municipal study institute. Passing the final examination of the Angestelltenlehrgang II is a mandatory requirement for a permanent position. Failure to pass the examination will result in a different position in the administration with a corresponding classification.

    or

    • the qualification for the second entry-level post in the field of administration and finance with the perspective willingness for further training qualification according to § 29 Laufbahnordnung (LbVO) for the status A 10.

    This is a permanent position, which is generally suitable for part-time work, but is to be filled on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and fulfillment of the personal and career requirements, the position will be filled as a civil servant in salary group A 10 LBesG or pay group 9c TVöD.

    Applicants (m/f/d) who have not yet completed employee training course II at the time the position is filled will be placed in pay group 9a TVöD until they pass the second examination. During the period of attendance of the Employee Training Course II, the allowance will be paid in accordance with the district collective agreement on the training and examination obligation.

  • Construction draftsman (m/f/d) or construction technician (m/f/d) to support the team of the municipal utilities department

    The main job contents include in particular

    • Support in planning the renewal of drainage and water supply networks using CAD systems
    • Support during construction, such as taking measurements, calculating quantities, checking invoices.
    • Independent surveying during and after completion of piping systems with the aid of GPS-supported surveying equipment
    • Independent assignment of the recorded survey data and transfer to the associated water supply and wastewater disposal databases in the existing GIS system
    • Independent processing of building applications

    The right to transfer further tasks from the area of municipal utilities remains reserved.

    Your requirements profile:

    • Very good IT skills in planning software (RIB available) and construction-related software (ITWO available)
    • In addition, knowledge of a geographic information system (GIS), ideally Caigos software, is an advantage
    • A high level of commitment and initiative are a matter of course for you
    • Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Very good organizational and communication skills
    • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working with the ability to work in a team
    • Driving license class B (formerly 3) is a prerequisite for employment, as well as the willingness to drive a company car

    The prerequisite for filling the position is:

    • Successfully completed specialist vocational training as a draftsman (m/f/d) or construction technician (m/f/d), or comparable construction-related training, ideally with relevant professional experience

    This is a permanent position, which is generally suitable for part-time work, but can be filled full-time. Depending on qualifications and fulfillment of personal requirements, the position will be graded up to pay group 8 TVöD.

  • Employee (m/f/d) to strengthen the general social services team This is a position to be filled as a maternity and parental leave replacement for a limited period until September 2026.

    The area of responsibility includes in particular

    • Advice on general issues relating to the upbringing and development of young people
    • Initiation and management of educational assistance and integration support, also with regard to the effective use of the resources used
    • Risk assessment and intervention in cases of child endangerment
    • Implementation of provisional measures to protect children and young people, also as part of an on-call service
    • Participation in proceedings before the family courts

    Prerequisites:

    • Degree as Diplom-Sozialarbeiter (m/f/d) / Diplom-Sozialpädagoge (m/f/d) (FH) with state recognition or a comparable Bachelor's degree
    • Extensive knowledge of the respective field of law
