Real estate map (general)
Service description
Service description
The real estate map, formerly also known as the cadastral map, is a scaled-down representation of all properties and forms the representative part of the real estate cadastre. With its area-wide proof of the location and boundaries of all parcels of land and buildings, it provides the basis for securing ownership. The real estate map shows, among other things
- Designation and geometry of the parcels and buildings as well as their spatial reference,
- Location names (street names, house numbers, district names, district names)
- Administrative and political boundaries
- Public-law regulations (e.g. nature conservation areas, protected areas for medicinal springs, monument zones, etc.)
- Location of the buildings
- Types of use
- Results of the official land valuation
The real estate map provides reliable, true-to-scale basic information that can be used as a basis for land transactions, planning and financing of construction projects, but also as a georeferenced basis for information systems of other authorities and agencies.
The conventional, analogue real estate map has been replaced by the Automated Real Estate Map (ALK). The real estate map is available in both raster format (LiKa-R) and vector format (LiKa-V).
Of course, analog extracts from the real estate map derived from the ALK will continue to be provided.
You can inspect and obtain extracts from the real estate cadastre from the local surveying and land registry office and the publicly appointed surveyors (Öffentlich bestellter Vermessungsingenieurinnen und Vermessungsingenieure - ÖbVI). In addition, the surveying and cadastral offices and publicly appointed surveyors can provide you with technical information on the data content of the real estate cadastre.
