Drinking water charge
Service description
Service descriptionThe population is supplied with drinking water by the local water supply companies. Information on the respective water supplier can be obtained from the municipal or city administration.
The provision of drinking water to citizens or customers must cover costs. The respective supplier therefore charges a fee for the direct supply of drinking water, which, depending on the calculation basis, is divided into a basic fee and a fee per m³ consumed or is only a volume fee.
The customer pays a one-off contribution to the costs for the new connection.
The amount of the drinking water costs, like the connection costs, varies and must be requested from the supplier.Who should I contact?Suppliers in this sense can be water supply associations, municipal utilities, municipal companies or companies under private law.
