Reburial
Service description
Service descriptionIf the reburial of a deceased person within a cemetery or to another cemetery is intended, an application must first be made to the cemetery administration responsible for the new grave for the provision of the new grave site with the right of use.

- Name, date of birth and date of death of the deceased to be reburied
- Cemetery and designation of the grave site of the excavation
- Reason for planned reburial
Should the reburial take place within the same cemetery:
The reburial permit and burial authorization will be issued as soon as a death certificate and confirmation of the provision of the new grave site with clarification of the right of use have been received by the cemetery administration.
Should the reburial take place in an external cemetery:
The reburial permit is issued by the registry office as soon as a death certificate and proof of burial (confirmation that the new burial site has been made available) have been received from the regulatory authority of the new cemetery.
If the reburial is to take place from an external cemetery:
The grave certificate will be issued by the cemetery administration as soon as confirmation of the provision of the new grave site and clarification of the right of use by the cemetery administration has been received.
