Summer in Idar-Oberstein is entering its next phase: On Thursday, August 13, 2026, starting at 5 p.m., Schleiferplatz in the Idar district will once again transform into a lively gathering spot for anyone who wants to enjoy the end of the workday in a relaxed atmosphere. The popular City Mood after-work event, organized by Stadtmarketing Idar-Oberstein e.V., promises top-notch entertainment, culinary variety, and a convivial get-together this August as well.
The duo L&L Acoustics, featuring Lara Fuchs and Lukas Decker, will once again provide the perfect musical backdrop. The two musicians already wowed the audience last year and create the perfect atmosphere for a summer evening with their calm, relaxed cover songs. With their varied acoustic set, they invite you to leave the stress of everyday life behind and enjoy the evening in a cozy setting.
Whether with coworkers after work, with friends, or with family—the City Mood After-Work event offers the perfect opportunity to wind down the day together. The restaurants and bars around Schleiferplatz will keep you well-fed and hydrated with food and drinks. The lineup is rounded out by the wine stand from Weinkonzept Stüber, the cocktail cart from Eckstein Bar & Food, and other culinary offerings.
