The Sports Inclusion Coordinators of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Sports Federation, in collaboration with the City of Idar-Oberstein, invite you to an informational event titled “Inclusion in Sports—Creating Opportunities in Sports Clubs.” The event will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Idar-Oberstein City Hall. The event is aimed at all sports clubs that are addressing the topic of inclusion or would like to further develop their existing programs—regardless of whether they already have experience in this area or are just planning their first steps.
Sports bring people together—regardless of age, background, or individual circumstances. That’s why the organizers want to help make sports programs in Idar-Oberstein even more inclusive and offer everyone the opportunity to actively participate in club life. To this end, the event provides practical information on the following topics:
- Inclusion in Sports—Opportunities and Fundamentals
- Ways to Implement This in the Day-to-Day Life of a Club
- Funding and Support Opportunities
- Exchange and Networking with Other Clubs
- Working Together to Promote Inclusion in Sports in Idar-Oberstein
- Participation is free. For more information, please contact the sports inclusion coordinators Lea Brusius, email l.brusius@silo.lsbrlp.de, and Timm Ritterböck, email t.ritterboeck@silo.lsbrlp.de, or the city’s sports coordinator, Armin Vogt, phone 06781//64-5042, email armin.vogt@idar-oberstein.de.
