Bright sunshine, an exuberant atmosphere and rousing live music: the third after-work event organized by the municipal business development agency in Idar was once again a complete success. In perfect summer weather, numerous visitors of all ages flocked to Schleiferplatz last Thursday to enjoy the end of the working day in a relaxed atmosphere.
Musical highlights were provided by the band Elliot, who accompanied the evening with a varied repertoire of rock, pop and current hits. The rousing rhythms and likeable stage presence of the musicians ensured that the party went on until late into the evening.
"We are delighted with the positive response and the lively participation," says the city's business development department. "Events like this show how important encounters in a relaxed atmosphere are for the sense of community in our city."
We are already looking ahead: the fourth after-work event will take place at the same location on September 4, 2025, again with music, culinary delights and lots of good cheer. An evening that you should make a note of in your diary now.
