"Film in the theater" 2024/2025 not applicable

The "Film im Theater" series of events organized by the Idar-Oberstein Cultural Office in cooperation with the StattKino Initiative will not take place in the coming autumn and winter months of 2024/2025. After years of voluntary work, the team is taking a creative break.

For 10 years, the Stattkino Initiative presented its visitors with a varied cinema program and culinary delights, which were prepared by Anne Effgen and Ingrid Dalheimer-Brunk themselves in the early years. The idea in 2013 was to offer a suitable space to a movie-enthusiastic audience with a taste for good films. At the time, Idar-Oberstein no longer had its own movie theater. So the Idar-Oberstein municipal theater was found as a suitable venue. Since April 2013, great cinema has been presented here in a large living room.

The Cultural Office would like to thank all the helpers of the StattKino initiative for the many years of good cooperation and collaboration. Particularly noteworthy is the commitment of Ms. Anne Effgen and Ms. Ingrid Dalheimer-Brunk, who were responsible for the selection of films and much more.
