From June 26 to 29, 2026, the grounds of Messe Idar-Oberstein will be transformed into a lively festival site. The new Nahe Summer Festival deliberately ties in with the traditional date of the popular Spießbratenfest Idar-Oberstein and at the same time presents itself as open, modern and particularly family-friendly.

The culinary traditions of our region are just as much the focus here as the cheerful togetherness and celebrating together in a peaceful atmosphere.

More than 30 showmen and exhibitors provide a varied and colorful festival program over four days. Large rides such as breakdancers and bumper cars guarantee thrills, while merry-go-rounds, seesaws and classic shooting galleries will delight our younger visitors in particular.

In culinary terms, guests can look forward to genuine Hunsrück specialties, sweet delicacies and many other treats that give the festival its unmistakable regional character.

A varied show and music program also awaits you in Hall 3. On Friday, the disco with the Hunsrück DJs invites you to party and dance late into the night.

Saturday is all about an atmospheric musical evening. Live music with the band Take 4 will also provide the best entertainment on Sunday.

On Monday from 11.00 a.m., the festival begins with a cozy company and citizens' morning pint. A special highlight is the family day, on which all rides can be used at half price. The crowning finale on Monday evening is a spectacular firework display that will light up the sky above our town of Idar-Oberstein.

With its excellent infrastructure, Messe Idar-Oberstein offers the ideal setting for a safe and relaxed festival for the whole family.
