Every weekend before Easter, jewelry enthusiasts meet in the gemstone region of Idar-Oberstein and the surrounding area for a very special event.

The doors to 22 workshops in Idar-Oberstein and the surrounding area open to give you a lively insight into the traditional craft of the goldsmith, gem cutter and engraver.

This unique event has become a permanent fixture in the diary of jewelry lovers from all over Germany.

The work of the participating gemstone and jewelry designers is deeply rooted in the region and its centuries-old tradition of gemstone processing and jewelry making. From this wealth of experience, the working methods have developed in very different directions. Each workshop has its own specific design language and the choice of materials used is also very different.

In the small "get togethers" in the workshops, you have the opportunity to talk to the designers and get to know the individual styles of both traditional and experimental working methods. You can try on, try out and even buy.

Individual designer jewelry meets traditional craftsmanship and each workshop has its own unmistakable signature.
