I - O - A - M - The car and mobility trade fair

IOAM 2026 - a must for anyone who enjoys cars, motorcycles, e-bikes and classic cars

Idar-Oberstein. On March 14 and 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Idar-Oberstein Automobile Fair (IOAM) will open its doors for the eleventh time at the Idar-Oberstein Exhibition Center.

The strong participation of local car dealerships with their car brands ensures that all three halls and the foyer of the trade fair are occupied. Participants include the Barth & Frey dealership with attractive Opel and Peugeot cars, the Lofi dealership with the latest Renault, Dacia and Nissan models, the Kielburger dealership with its Mazda and Kawasaki brands, the Kirschweiler dealership with a wide range of Toyota products, the Nahetal dealership with its VW, Audi and Skoda brands and the PS Autogalerie with models from Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Dodge. A new addition is the Hohmann dealership from Kirn, with the Chinese brands BAIC, Dongfeng (DEM) and Bestune as well as e-bikes from various manufacturers (Haibike, Ghost, Winora, Lapierre).

In the foyer, the APC car care center will be showcasing its range of vehicle care and value enhancement services and the Wirtz driving school will be giving tips on driver training, driving safety and driving licenses. Outside, the Wirtz driving school will be offering a special training course.

A special highlight of the trade fair is the docked classic car exhibition. Classic car enthusiast Leonhard Stibitz will be on hand to explain the individual gems and bring the history of these classic automobiles to life.

The official opening of the fair will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 1:30 pm, accompanied by Mayor Friedrich Marx and the German Gemstone Queen Vivien Heidrich. Delicious catering will also be provided during the fair.
