Communicate changes that are important for the receipt of advance maintenance payments
Service description
You must notify the Maintenance Advance Office of any important changes during the entire period of benefit receipt. These include changes,
- which may be important for the claim or
- about which you have made declarations in connection with the maintenance advance.
You must notify us of any changes immediately (without undue delay).
Examples of changes:
- Your child no longer lives with you.
- You are moving.
- They get married.
- You move in with the other parent.
- The other parent pays maintenance again or wants to pay maintenance again.
- You become aware of the previously unknown whereabouts of the other parent.
- The other parent has died.
- The child has died.
- The child no longer attends school.
- The income of the child who no longer attends school changes because, for example, the amount of the training allowance changes.
Notifications to other authorities are not sufficient.
Prerequisites
- You receive an advance on maintenance payments.
- Changes have been made.

There are no costs.
