Dog ownership deregistration
Service description
The keeping of a dog must be deregistered if:
- the dog has died.
- You have given the dog to someone else.
- You have given the dog to an animal shelter.
- the dog has escaped and you assume that it will not come back.The deregistration and return of the dog tax stamp is carried out at the responsible office.

What documents are required?
Documents may be required. Please contact the responsible office.
In principle, however, the dog tax stamp must be returned when deregistering.
What deadlines do I have to observe?
The deregistration must take place immediately at the end of dog ownership.
