Aid
Service description
As of 01.01.2014, the city of Idar-Oberstein will transfer its responsibility for calculating and determining benefits to the Palatinate Pension Institution (ppa).
Civil servants and pension recipients of the Idar-Oberstein municipal administration can apply for aid for expenses in the event of illness for themselves and their eligible dependents with the aid application. The expenses must be documented by copies of the receipts (no originals!) and attached to the application. Each person entitled to aid must also enclose a current (as of 01.01.2014) certificate of insurance for their private health and long-term care insurance with their first aid application. The application must be signed and sent in writing; it is therefore not possible to send it by e-mail.
Employees of the Idar-Oberstein municipal administration who were hired before 01.01.1999 still have a limited entitlement to benefits, e.g. for initial equipment and dentures.
Please submit your completed initial application for aid for 2014 to the personnel department of the Idar-Oberstein municipal administration. All further applications for benefits can be sent directly to the ppa (P.O. Box 1463, 67088 Bad Dürkheim) for faster processing. In addition, it is of course still possible to submit your aid applications to the personnel department.
If necessary, the personnel department of the Idar-Oberstein city administration must be consulted.
