Service description
Crisis situations or family problems can lead to children or young people being placed in a home or other form of assisted living (e.g. assisted individual living, residential group for several young people, mother-child residential group).
Residential care or placement in another form of assisted living is possible:
- as a temporary measure, after which the children or young people return to their family of origin
- as a temporary measure that prepares the children or young people for placement in a foster family
- as a permanent measure that prepares children or young people for independent living
