Disabled children and young people at school
Service description
The Rhineland-Palatinate School Act (SchulG) of 30.3.2004 enshrines the goal of equal participation of disabled children and young people: this means that disabled pupils should generally attend the same schools as non-disabled pupils if the material, spatial, personnel and organizational conditions are available.
The special needs of pupils with disabilities must be taken into account in the organization of lessons and also in the assessment and evaluation of performance; corresponding regulations are formulated for all types of schools in the school regulations for the individual types of schools.
