Service description
Specialist companies must provide evidence of their specialist company status to the lower water authority in whose district they operate upon request. It must also be possible to provide the operator of a system with proof of specialist company status if the operator commissions the specialist company to carry out activities requiring specialist company status.

- the certificate of certification as a specialist company, issued by a recognized quality and monitoring association or a technical monitoring organization

The deadline possibly set by the lower water authority for the submission of the evidence.

The Institute for Heat and Oil Technology has published a list of approved specialist companies.
The locally responsible lower water authority will inform you which activities at a facility for handling substances hazardous to water are subject to the specialist company obligation.
