Service description
The household certificate is an official confirmation of the personal data of the applicant and their family members living with them in the household (spouse, partner and children). It is issued in the form of a special registration certificate by the local registration office and is used for submission to public authorities such as the family benefits office for the receipt of child benefit.
What documents are required?
When applying, you must identify yourself to the registration office.
What fees apply?
The amount of the fee is determined by the registration authority. It is generally based on the fee for a registration certificate.
If the certificate serves to apply for, provide or reimburse a social benefit in accordance with Social Code X (SGB X), it is free of charge (Section 64 (2) SGB X).
