Dangerous goods: Transportation
Service description
There are international regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods, which basically guarantee the safe transport of these sensitive goods. The regulations are continuously reviewed and developed further, taking into account the latest scientific and technical findings. Particular attention is paid to the classification, packaging and labeling of dangerous goods, the construction, equipment and inspection of vehicles and tanks, as well as the training of dangerous goods officers, vehicle drivers and other persons involved in the transport of dangerous goods. The regulations are updated every two years to reflect current developments. This includes, for example, the definition of a specific transport route within the framework of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance for Road, Rail and Inland Waterways (GGVSEB).
What fees apply?
Fees (fee range according to expenditure) are provided for in the Dangerous Goods Costs Ordinance for the granting of exemptions.
