The start of the Easter vacations will be celebrated together with a small festival on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m. in the city park. The skate park is available for all age groups and offers the ideal opportunity to try out new tricks and simply have fun. Of course, the other offers and facilities in the city park can also be used freely. Food and drink will of course also be provided.
Nicole Wolter from Yoga Studio Soma'Raya in Tiefenstein invites you to two yoga workshops in the first week of the vacations. On March 30 and April 1, 2026, everything will revolve around relaxation, mindfulness, dance and movement. Ideal for switching off after stressful school days. The excursion to the climbing hall in St. Wendel on April 7, 2026 will also be sporty, where participants can spend three hours bouldering and climbing with qualified trainers. Those who are not so keen on climbing are invited to the street dance workshop on April 9 and 10 to learn cool moves and choreographies. Whether beginner or advanced - the focus here is on having fun while moving. For younger skaters, a skate workshop will take place at the end of the summer vacation on April 11. Under the motto: "Make the skate park unsafe", they will learn cool tricks that will help them improve their skills. After the technique training, they can try out what they've learned and the barbecue will be fired up.
A special experience on March 31 is the donkey hike with Sabrina Wayand from "Esel und Maehr" through the idyllic Antestat near Schmidthachenbach. After the hike, a cozy campfire awaits the participants.
Creativity is the focus of two activities. At the Easter crafting workshop at the Jugendtreff am Markt (JAM) on 2 April, people will be using different materials, colors and colorful paper to make great Easter decorations. Art therapist Mareike Brenner invites you to a printing workshop at JAM on April 8. This involves experimenting with different stamps, colors and printing techniques and designing your own fabric bags or T-shirts.
