The Idar-Oberstein Cultural Office draws a consistently positive balance from its latest visitor survey. As part of a cultural event at the end of last year, guests were asked to give their opinion on the city's cultural offerings. The response was extremely positive: In addition to a high response rate, the city administration was particularly pleased with the quality of the events on offer.
The high level of satisfaction with the program selection stands out in particular in the evaluation. This is reflected not only in the positive ratings, but also in the remarkable consistency of the Idar-Oberstein audience. Many guests have been loyal to the theater program as subscribers for years or even decades. The cultural office sees this result as confirmation of the quality of the plays booked and the continuous work of previous seasons.
In addition to praise, visitors also used the survey to express personal wishes. Among other things, interest in performances from the musical, cabaret and comedy genres was frequently mentioned. The Cultural Office takes these suggestions seriously and endeavors to respond to visitors' wishes. In order to maintain the proven character of the existing subscription series, the administration is planning to offer these entertainment formats more in future as a supplement outside this framework.
