On Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., the neighbourhood management is once again organizing a "dirt-away" campaign in the Wasenstraße district. In addition to the aim of removing litter from public spaces such as green areas, streets and other communal areas, the aim is also to raise awareness of the litter problem.
The meeting point for volunteers is at 10 a.m. at the bus stop "Katholische Kirche" in front of Wasenstraße 14. Following the joint clean-up, there will be refreshing drinks and tasty snacks at around 11:30 a.m. The event is supported by Abfall Wirtschaftsbetrieb Nationalpark Landkreis Birkenfeld. Children can only participate if accompanied by an adult. If you have them at home, you are welcome to bring your own gloves and high-visibility vests - grabbers and other equipment will be available on site. Prior registration is not necessary, every helper is welcome.
