The expansion area extends between the traffic circle in Vollmersbachstraße and Idarer Straße in the Göttschied district over a length of around 1.3 kilometers. Due to the existing road width, the construction work can only be carried out with a full closure to through traffic. Construction is expected to take around two months.
The signposted detour from the KVP is via Vollmersbachstraße, Hauptstraße, Göttschieder Straße and the 37 in the direction of Hintertiefenbach and vice versa. Access to the buildings at Flugplatzstraße 1 (dermatologist, chiropodist, hairdresser, etc.) and Flugplatzstraße 3 (Giovanni Nola construction site) will be guaranteed during the construction work. During the asphalt work at the end of May, however, it will not be possible to drive on the road for about a week.
The LBM Bad Kreuznach asks road users and residents for their understanding for the expected disruptions. At the same time, it asks road users to drive carefully in the area of the roadworks and detour routes.
