You can make a note of this date in your calendar: from Thursday, December 11 to Saturday, December 13, 2025, the second Idar-Oberstein Advent Glow will take place on Schleiferplatz in the Idar district. Once again this year, visitors can expect a purely gourmet market with a varied entertainment program: live music and DJs, a concert by Bachwagge and many other local acts. Planning is in full swing and most of the huts have already been booked.
Caroline Pehlke and Sarah Wagner from the city's business development department will announce the exact details of the program shortly. However, anyone who still has a good idea for the program is welcome to get in touch. It is already clear that the cups collected in advance will of course be used at the event. There will also be a central washing-up area to ensure sustainability. "We are really looking forward to a contemplative, happy and enjoyable Advent season with lots of visitors," say the business promoters.
