The citizens' consultation hour is part of the Idar-Oberstein police's "Combating crime in public spaces" concept. With this approach, the police and public order authorities want to respond specifically to security concerns and strengthen preventative measures. The aim is to enter into a direct dialog with the town's citizens, to receive information from the public, answer questions and talk about concerns and suggestions.
- Anyone wishing to make an appointment for the consultation hour is requested to register in advance via Mayor Marx's office by Monday, November 3, 2025. Please state your concerns when registering. The number of participants is limited to allow for individual discussions. A maximum time frame of 20 minutes is planned for each consultation.
