On Thursday, 4 December 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m., the Wasenstraße neighbourhood management team and the redevelopment management team are organizing a winter market in the parish hall of St. Walburga Catholic Church at Heckweg 9. Many stakeholders from the neighbourhood will be there, including the Kreuznacher Diakonie homelessness charity, the Rhine-Hunsrück-Nahe Caritas Association, the new migration social worker Monique Grossmann from the German Red Cross, the decentralized youth work, the regional center for health promotion and the Caritas energy-saving consultant. Neighborhood management and redevelopment management will also be on site to hold interesting discussions.
In addition to information and hands-on stands from the individual institutions, visitors will also be catered for - mulled wine, punch, delicious crêpes and savory and sweet treats will be on offer. Important: Registration is not required, everyone is welcome to drop by and enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere.
