In this context, the Idar-Oberstein Youth Welfare Office is organizing a quiz night on Saturday, November 22, 2025, on the "Exit Loneliness" initiative. The joint project by SWR Doku, DASDING and Y-Kollektiv Wusstest addresses a problem that many people are familiar with but rarely talk about: Almost half of young people under 30 often feel alone. Despite social media, living in a shared flat or constant hustle and bustle.
The event is aimed at children aged 8 and over and takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jugendtreff am Markt. Under the slogan "Cooking, S(ch)nacken and digital games", we will first cook and eat together and then play games together. Games such as Kahoot!, Skribbl and others will be tried out. You can play on the PCs on site, your own smartphones or laptops.
