At the end of the autumn vacations, the city youth welfare office organized the Family Weekend. Despite the stormy weather, the weekend began on Saturday with a cozy autumn festival, which was quickly moved from the city park to the youth club at the market. Families and children came together to spend a relaxed afternoon with hot chocolate and fresh waffles. Autumnal decorations were created at the large creative station and both young and old visitors had the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild.
The highlight of the weekend was on the program on Sunday. Magician Linus Faber enchanted around 150 guests with his charming show in the exhibition hall. With wit, magic salt and support from the audience, he made children's eyes light up and amazed faces light up. Afterwards, the little magic fans got active themselves. In an exclusive workshop, Linus Faber revealed some of his magic secrets and showed how simple tricks can be copied at home. Each child made their own magic box to take home as a souvenir of a magical day. The Family Weekend was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Roland Foundation.
