After work with the band Elliot

Relax into the evening - that's what the after-work event offers with live music, wines, cocktails and other culinary delights. Enjoy the sunset with a drink in your hand, good music in your ears and nice conversations in a relaxed environment - the perfect meeting place for colleagues, friends and anyone who wants to celebrate the summer evening. The series of events is organized by the city's business development department, center management and the city marketing association as part of the 'Sustainable inner cities and centers' funding programme. "The event has now established itself and is being increasingly well received by the public," report Carolina Pehlke and Sarah Wagner from the city's business development department.

For the next event, the two have hired a special music act in the form of the band Elliot. Founded back in 1997, Elliot quickly developed into one of the most successful cover bands in Saarland and has been a permanent fixture at regional and national events as a crowd-puller. Elliot has also been a guest in Idar-Oberstein several times in the past, including at the Spießbratenfest. Just recently, the five musicians appeared on the ZDF television garden as Joe Heindle's backing band.

Elliot's aim from the very beginning: The authentic, but at the same time independent and contemporary interpretation of well-known songs from rock, pop, NDW and TOP 40, combined with the involvement of the audience in the concert. A varied program, presented in a powerful sound and with an intense stage presence, guarantees a unique concert and party experience. "We are delighted that we are able to have such a great band play at our after-work event thanks to the 'Sustainable inner cities and centers' funding program," says Caroline Pehlke.

The business promoter also announced another event: On Saturday, September 13, 2025, there will be the big closing party of the Citymood project. Under the motto Citymood and Friends, a colorful supporting program is being prepared for families, children and, of course, after-work enthusiasts. There will be an opportunity to find out more about Citymood, but also to celebrate and have fun.
