Two new e-bike charging stations in Idar-Oberstein

Two new e-bike charging stations have recently been put into operation at central locations in Idar-Oberstein. One of them is located in the Idar district in the Muschel area and the other is in the Oberstein district, on the market square in front of the tourist information office.

The charging stations were purchased through the "Sustainable inner cities and centers" funding program. With this offer, the city is making a further contribution to promoting sustainable mobility. "Our aim is to make cycling in the city more attractive and at the same time increase the quality of life in the pedestrian zones," says the economic development agency.

The new LiON Box Max is a particularly user-friendly and powerful charging station of the latest generation. It can supply power to two e-bikes at the same time - without the need for a separate charging cable.

The city of Idar-Oberstein is sending out a clear signal with the new charging stations: For future-oriented mobility, more convenience for visitors and a liveable city center. So if you're out and about on an e-bike soon - just drop by, plug in and recharge for free!
