Between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., families with children in particular, but also numerous skaters and scooter riders, came to the park to take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer. The game stations, where children could earn stamps on their race card, were particularly popular. Those who mastered all the stations were able to enjoy a free slush ice - a welcome refreshment on this sunny day.
A real highlight was the skate and scooter jam at the skate park, which was accompanied by a raffle. Young talents showed off their skills and wowed the audience with their tricks. The popular children's face painting and the Kreissparkasse bouncy castle also made children's eyes light up and created a great atmosphere.
The Offene Flamme team under Thomas Kreis took care of the physical well-being with freshly grilled sausages and grilled cheese. The organizers were pleased with how the day went: "The children clearly had fun and it was great to see how well the various sports areas in the city park were used," concluded the organizers.
