At the beginning of December, a cozy Christmas party was held at the youth club on the market square. All cooperation partners, helpers and youth work participants in Idar-Oberstein were invited. Of course, all other interested parties were also very welcome. The event began at 7 p.m. with hot punch and freshly baked waffles to welcome everyone.
The street dance group 'ninetofive' from the Jugendtreff am Markt opened the evening with an impressive show. The dance group trains every Tuesday from 5.30 p.m. at the youth club and is happy to welcome new faces, as they are still looking for new members. Afterwards, the young band Twenty2's provided a good musical atmosphere. They played classics by Nirvana and other well-known bands for an hour. Pepe Longsleeve closed the evening with a spontaneous acoustic interlude. In a cozy atmosphere, everyone looked back on the past year, shared memories of activities and events and enjoyed being together. The evening was an all-round successful conclusion to a successful year 2025 in youth work. From December 18, JAM will go into its winter break and will be open again from January 5, 2026 for anyone who would like to drop by.
