This time, all soccer teams from Idar-Oberstein will once again be competing in the indoor soccer city championship, with the exception of TuS Tiefenstein. Together with SG Veitsrodt/Tiefenstein, it is taking part in the championship of the Herrstein-Rhaunen municipality. This year, the second teams of the clubs are also eligible to play for the first time, although only SC 07 Idar-Oberstein is making use of this option. The game is played according to the current rules of the Southwest German Football Association (SWFV).
FSV Blau-Weiß Idar-Oberstein, Bollenbacher SV, SG Idar-Oberstein and SC 07 Idar-Oberstein II will play in Group A. Group B features SC 07 Idar-Oberstein I, SpVgg Nahbollenbach, VfL Weierbach and SV 05 Göttschied. The group winners and runners-up will play in the semi-finals. In addition to the final, there will also be matches for places 3, 5 and 7.
Group A of the Ü32 tournament features FSV Blau-Weiß Idar-Oberstein, SV Heimbach, TuS Hoppstädten, SG Brücken/Trauntal and SG Algenrodt-Idar-Oberstein. Group B features VfL Weierbach, SG Bollenbacher SV/Bollenbachtal, VfR Baumholder, SG Mörschied/Veitsrodt and SG Niederhambach. The group winners and runners-up will also contest the semi-finals. In addition to the final, there will be a 9-meter shoot-out for 3rd place.
