Can rocks grow?
At the beginning of the third vacation week, nine curious children went on an exciting hike around Bundenbach. They were accompanied by hiking guide Machael Brzokska, who introduced them to the fascinating world of geology. Under the motto "Can rocks grow?", the little explorers went on a journey back in time around 400 million years with the geology figure "Anton Schiefer" and learned in a playful way how the famous Hunsrück slate was formed. In addition to exciting information, there was also plenty of fun. The children searched for pieces of slate themselves, explored mysterious slate caves and even found small gemstones.
Journey to the Northern Lights
On the "Journey to the Northern Lights", the children joined Gaby Hofmann in the forest near Leisel to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of fantasy and get to the bottom of the mystery of solar storms and magnetic fields. The participating children entered the world of light and color. The focus was on free development in nature and art.
Golf
In cooperation with the Edelstein-Hunsrück e.V. golf club, the participating children were able to get a taste of golf. They had lots of fun learning the basic techniques of chipping, pitching and putting before the exciting day came to an end with a barbecue and a round around the golf course.
Fit for the stage
Under the direction of Katy Becker and Kerstin Kornetzky, the children spent three mornings acting, dancing and singing. There were no limits to their imagination and creativity. Under professional guidance, they were able to slip into different roles, dress up, make up stories together and present them on stage.
