In a small ceremony, Mayor Friedrich Marx, colleagues and staff representatives congratulated the gardener at the building depot on this special day.
On July 17, 1985, Joachim Donauer began his service as a gardener at the city administration's building depot and was also deployed in winter maintenance. He also worked in the area of tree care.
Mayor Friedrich Marx praised Joachim Donauer's good performance, "the work of gardeners is physically demanding, it is often very hot in summer and correspondingly cold in winter". Joachim Donauer has always enjoyed working at the building depot and was very satisfied with his work as a gardener.
Mayor Marx thanked the jubilarian for his many years of commitment and hard work with a certificate from the Minister President and a few gifts and wished him all the best for the future. Colleagues and staff representatives were happy to join in the thanks and good wishes.
