The city administration of Idar-Oberstein needs childcare workers for its daycare centers to support the educational staff in their work with the children on weekdays from Monday to Friday. For this purpose, we are looking for motivated and resilient workers for short-term employment as soon as possible.

The range of tasks within the scope of this childcare offer includes, among other things, assistance with personal hygiene, support with meals, assistance with dressing and undressing, participation and support with educational activities, such as play, creative, learning and movement activities and projects, the preparation of materials for educational activities for the children to be cared for as well as housekeeping activities. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are characterized by flexibility, team spirit and reliability and have a friendly and open manner.

Short-term employment is limited to a maximum of three months or 70 working days within a calendar year and may not be exercised on a professional basis. Applications from severely disabled persons are expressly welcome. They will be given preferential consideration for employment if they have the same professional and personal qualifications.
