Saarstrasse will be closed

Stadtwerke Idar-Oberstein has to carry out urgent work on the sewer in Saarstraße in the Algenrodt district. This will require the road at house number 60 to be fully closed to through traffic from Monday, April 28 until probably Friday, May 9, 2025.

Car traffic will be diverted via Algenrodter Straße. Traffic over 7.5 tons will be diverted between the Rabenkreisel traffic circle and the junction of Saarstraße / B 41 via the B 41 (Siesbachstraße), the L 176 and the road Am Rilchenberg. Residents can drive along Saarstraße from both sides as far as the roadworks.

Stadtwerke asks residents and road users for their understanding for the disruption caused by the construction work.
