Traffic in the direction of Oberstein will be diverted past the roadworks, in the direction of Tiefenstein it will be diverted at the Edelstein traffic circle via Kobachstrasse and Bismarckstrasse.
Due to the vacation period, traffic in the direction of Tiefenstein has so far been able to flow without any major restrictions. However, due to the increase in commuter traffic and the imminent resumption of school transport, the traffic routing will be changed with immediate effect. At the junction of Kobachstraße and Bismarckstraße, a turning right of way has been set up so that traffic flowing down Kobachstraße must now give way. At Alexanderplatz, the traffic lights have been switched off and temporary crosswalks have been marked.
The city administration asks road users to pay increased attention due to the changed traffic routing and to understand the disruption caused by the work.
