Summer festival in the city park

A very special summer festival will be held at the Idar-Oberstein town park in the Nahetal business park: The trainee branch of Kreissparkasse Birkenfeld is organizing a colourful festival for children, young people, families and interested parties together with the decentralized youth work. "We want to offer young people in particular an eventful afternoon and at the same time strengthen togetherness in our region," says the organization team. However, the festival is aimed at all generations and invites people to linger, exchange ideas and join in.

From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can look forward to a varied program with delicious slush ice, an exciting raffle, music, barbecue and drinks stands as well as numerous mini-games for young and old. As a special highlight, there will be a show with skate and scooter tricks, where the young talents will demonstrate their skills. All participants will also take part in the raffle, with prizes provided by Kreissparkasse Birkenfeld. A local partner, Thomas Kreis from Offene Flamme, has been secured to provide guests with culinary highlights.

Admission is free - all interested parties are welcome. Registration for the skate and scooter event is possible via the Instagram account @jugend_io or spontaneously on the day of the event.
