Wonderful Mineral World again on May 24 & 25, 2025

Since 2010, local suppliers of gemstones, minerals, fossils, jewelry and exclusive stone objects have been joined by other dealers and collectors from almost all over Europe and overseas at the Idar-Oberstein trade fair every year at the end of May.

MineralienWelt Idar-Oberstein presents treasures and rocks in all their fascination and beauty, in all shapes, colors and price ranges, as well as a concentrated level of expertise that leaves no technical question unanswered.

The Mineral World is crowned by an annually changing special exhibition, which regularly amazes even the experts.

The range of minerals on offer will be complemented by a demonstration of the craftsmanship of engraver Gerhard Pauly. For young visitors, the stands of the German Gemstone Museum, the German Mineral Museum and the "EdelSteinLand" Tourist Information will be offering craft and painting activities with gemstones, a treasure hunt and a wheel of fortune. A large bouncy castle is set up in front of the hall, where younger visitors can romp around to their heart's content.

The EdelSteinLand Tourist Information has numerous offers, suggestions and tips for anyone who would like to combine a visit to MineralienWelt Idar-Oberstein with a short break in the scenic region of gemstones and the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
