Long night of gemstones

The Long Night of Gemstones was already a great success in 2022 and 2023. We invite you to experience the uniqueness and expertise of Idar-Oberstein during the 3rd Long Night of Gemstones.

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, selected institutions and locations from Idar-Oberstein's jewelry and gemstone industry will open their doors to visitors free of charge in a pleasant evening atmosphere from 7:00 pm to midnight. At the individual locations, there will not only be the right information on this evening, but also an attractive supporting program with readings, guided tours, musical performances and informative contributions.

The Long Night of Gemstones will be officially opened at 6.45 pm by the German Gemstone Queen Vivian Heidrich, Dr. Heide Rezepa-Zabel and Julian Schmitz-Avila. The venue is yet to be announced.

Messe Idar-Oberstein organizes bus shuttles so that visitors can decide for themselves which and, above all, how many stations they want to visit that evening. Alternatively, the stations can be reached by car or on foot. There are capacity limits for the guided tours. In this respect, advance online registration via Messe Idar-Oberstein is required if you are interested.
