In addition to the nationwide warning day on every second Thursday in September, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate has also been holding a state-wide warning day since 2025. Since then, this has been held on the second Thursday in March. The Civil Protection Situation Center triggers the warning message "Statewide Warning Day 2026" at around 10 am. The all-clear is given at around 10.45 am. A new feature this year is that citizens will also receive the all-clear via the Cell-Broadcast mobile phone service.
